March notes

February went by so quickly! Despite the storms we finally got to see some sun peeking through with the promise of spring around the corner. So I got the chance to go on a walk and refresh with some clean air

It’s so nice to come back to my home town and away from the bustle of the city sometimes. It helps me to recollect my thoughts and find some peace in the nature.

I also visited the Tate modern to see Philippe Parreno’s Anywhen.  The exhibition uses Sound, lighting, film and flying objects and changes and evolves every day. It’s activated using chance and control influenced by micro organisms. As it’s in the turbine hall, you can admire the exhibition from the soft carpet floor with a blanket or from the balcony which I think is really cool. It’s free to see and stays until the 2nd of April so if you’re in London I’d recommend a visit!

There is so much to look forward to this month so I’ll get started with what to expect

  • WOW – women of the world festival at Southbank Centre 7-12th                                     This festival is a celebration of the achievements of women all over the world. It  includes many guest speakers and workshops challenging obstiacles we face and discussing gender equality. I think it’s going to be an exciting and inspirational few days so book if you can
  • MOVE IT – ExCeL London – 10-12th                                                                                         Move it is three days of celebrating dance through shows, workshops, career advice and shopping. There’s celebrities giving interviews and a huge range of classes so it’s accessible to all levels ! I’ll be trying Yoga Dance and improvisation.
  • Mother’s Day -26th                                                                                                                                 Definitely a date you dont want to forget, how are you treating you mum this month?

What are you looking forward to in march ?
